Jerome Blake ( Team Canada Track and Field)
In his sport career, Jerome was a high and long jumper in Portland, Jamaica as a student. After moving to Kelowna, BC in 2013, he switched to sprinting when he and his athletics coaches recognized his potential in the sport.
In 2017, Jerome competed in the RBC Training Ground in Kamloops, BC and was chosen as on of 30 young athletes to be funded by the program. In 2018, Jerome was granted his Canadian Citizenship and is now focused on the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympic Games as a member of the Canadian National team. Early in his sporting career, his accomplishments are already making him one of the top 100m and 200m sprinters in the world.
